Fairways is a homegrown UAE venture. The golf apps we all carried were built elsewhere, for elsewhere — generic course databases, handicaps that ignore how golf is actually played here, and communities that treat the Gulf as an afterthought. We are UAE golfers, and we wanted the digital home our golf deserves: every course mapped properly, every society in one place, every round part of a story.

Because the group chat isn’t a golf club

UAE golf runs on WhatsApp — society announcements buried between memes, scores kept on paper, handicaps argued over brunch. The community is brilliant; the tools are not. Fairways gives that community a real home: societies with proper competitions and an Order of Merit, games you can actually find players for, and a feed of real rounds from people you play with.

Technology that earns its place

We map every course ourselves in Fairways Studio — real GPS geometry, not licensed approximations — so your yardage book, Smart Caddie and shot tracking are built on ground truth. The AI Swing Studio measures your swing on your own phone. When we add something, it is because it makes you better or brings golfers together, not because it pads a feature list.

Independent and long-term

Fairways is independently built and operated from Ras Al Khaimah as part of the Farrell International family, alongside GGTA, the Global Golf Travel Association. No venture-capital growth targets deciding what happens to your data — just a product that lives or dies on whether UAE golfers love it.
